Guest Post by current boot camp client Mrs. Tisa Futterman
It has been a while since I blogged last. I had a week of conflict with kids schedules and thunderstorms occurring every evening right at the time of boot camp, so I missed all but one class last week. I also had to give up my morning classes due to my kids starting school and their bus schedules.
Today, I am six days away from starting my solid year of intense RN core classes at Southeastern College, so my schedule is only about to get even more full. I am very nervous about whether or not I will be able to push myself enough to handle the stress of full-time RN classes, being a wife and mother to four teen/preteen girls, AND be able to attend four classes of boot camp per week minimum.
You know what? In my opinion, boot camp is just as important as everything else on that list. It is the nightly boot camps that give me the energy and motivation to do all of the other things!
When I wasn’t exercising, I was tired all of the time, cranky, and sore all over from inactivity. I don’t want to go back to that! I don’t see how I can handle RN school without boot camp, frankly!
This year is going to be about setting my mind and achieving the goals I am striving for:
1. Raising Godly young women to achieve their own goals & succeed in this world.
2. Excelling in nursing school.
3. Continuing on my path to overall health, wellness, and weight loss
Without all three of those accomplished, nothing will matter.
What’s your goal? Do you know what it is? Have you decided to take the stand for yourself and make it happen? It is all about determination. I… Will… Succeed.
God bless,
Tisa Futterman
