I decided to start at LiveFit because I had grown tired of talking about, preparing for and researching my fitness plan to death.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a time for that. But it was time for less research and more ACTION!

Like most people, I was afraid to walk through those doors for the first time.

In a previous transformation blog I talk about that 4-letter word, F E A R!

By nature, I was an “all or nothing” type person. I would tackle weight loss over and over again with the same failing outcome.

It usually went like this……Be unhappy with the way I looked and felt, lay out the exercise plan, the meal plan, buy whatever the latest and greatest equipment on the market was at the time and off I’d go to finally get fit!

Then, real life would set in. I’d miss a workout, make a mistake with my eating, beat myself up, search for excuses, get discouraged, quit, then be unhappy with the way I looked and felt. It was the same viscous cycle, year after year!

But one year ago, on Feb 20, 2017, I did something different and joined LiveFit.

Derek and all of his great staff helped me change my “all or nothing” mind-set.

They teach “progress, not perfection”. If you don’t feel like working out, just show up. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. If you drink 5 sodas a day, try drinking 4 instead.

Derek’s philosophy of progress, not perfection has finally sunken in!

You cannot fail if you are constantly being taught how to succeed!

They provide tools for success such as email support, an official support facebook page, nutritional seminars, bootcamp challenges, and more!

Yes, you will mess up, you may want to quit and you might even fall flat on your face…….. but you will also learn how to pick yourself up, again and again and again!

Today life is good and I’m learning how to be a fit person instead of an unhealthy person!

My weight is just about where I want it to be. My fitness plan still isn’t perfect, but I’m working hard and trying to make progress every day and so can you!

Why now and why me?
