Well, here it is. Off the top of my head. I hope it’s okay. I also wanted to thank you  for the opportunity this challenge has provided and what it has done for me mentally as well as physically. I’m so excited to see what else I can do. Thank you so very much!!

What initially motivated me to start an exercise program was to feel better about myself and the way I viewed myself.

I just wanted something different and challenging.

I’ve exercised my whole life, mostly as a runner, but felt I was missing something.

I’m in my forties and I didn’t want to be one of those people who settled for where they were at with their physical status.

I was trying to find a place where I could meet fun people that would support me. People who can help motivate me and give me inspiration to get to the point where I wanted to be!

In my profession as a nurse I see many sad stories on a daily basis.

It opens your eyes to the fact that you only have one life and one body and if you don’t take care of it and love yourself it can be so very bad.

My biggest fear with joining was whether or not I would fit in.

I tend to be a quiet person in new situations and it’s hard for people to get to know me until I feel comfortable enough to open up.

Lucky for me there are plenty of people who engaged me from the minute I walked in the door and made me feel welcome!

I wanted to reach a new level in my fitness and set new goals, and I love the challenge and the push that I get from bootcamp.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am at what I’ve accomplished since joining over a year ago!

I’m lifting weights I never dreamed of lifting before!

AND, don’t tell anyone, but I really like burpees!

Although running is my passion, working out everyday has given me new strength and focus and help me to set new goals for myself. Mud runs, cross country runs, and a half marathon are in my future.

I wake up every morning not just thinking how I can help others at my job today, but also, what am I doing for myself today.

It’s a great feeling! Why?! Because I deserve it, and so do you!

I look forward to working out and pushing my limits and feeling great!

Once you make that committee to yourself, and set your own goals, you’ll be amazed at what you can do!
