No matter if it’s working out, lifting weights, walking, running or whatever else you might be getting into keep in mind that it might not be right for you!
Think of it like dating… if you don’t enjoy it in the beginning during the “honeymoon phase” what makes you think you’re going to enjoy it a month, a year or a decade from now?
WATCH THE VIDEO “Your Workouts Are Unhealthy!”
Now this decision should NEVER be made based on ability level.
Just like in my video earlier this week, there is a beauty in being a beginner because you can make exponentially quicker progress then you can weeks, months and years later.
What your decision SHOULD be based on though is how the environment / situation makes you feel.
Do you feel supported?
Do you feel motivated?
Do you feel inspired?
When you have the accountability of these three things in place, your ability no longer matters…
The act of showing up is what actually matters!
If you don’t enjoy showing up, it might be time to move on to something new that does.
Lastly, don’t judge yourself on what you do to get or keep yourself healthy.
If you like walking, walk.
If you like lifting, lift.
If you like kayaking, kayak.
At the end of the day we all just need to move a little more frequently and deliberately…
…along with making healthier nutrition choices more frequently and deliberately!!!
Your path is your path, and yours alone. Remember that!
