Guest blog by Transformation Tuesday success story and local realtor Cris Taylor:
I always thought I was active and my diet was good, but in March/April 2015 I hit my highest weight ever!!
I was gaining an average of 5-10lbs a year which does not sound like a lot, but it is.
I was feeling tired all the time and embarrassed about the way I looked. I was bound and determine to take over my weight, my health, the right diet and be in the best shape possible.
I kept seeing a post on face book from a friend, Sandy Schuering, about this boot camp thing, so I asked her what this was about and she said “its a workout and I love it”.
So I started to think ‘a work out that is fun and help me… hmmm can this be true?’
So I started FACEBOOK CREEPING and seeing all these people, the training, the nutritional information and what they were doing.
Then I saw all the Transformation Tuesday posts and could not believe the changes.
So of course I emailed Derek asked a bunch of questions. Afterwards I thought why not give it a try for a $1 for two weeks (with intentions of stopping after).
But to my surprise I was already seeing results and having fun.
In the past I struggled with seeing results and I needed an extra push to overcome what I thought nearly seemed impossible: proving to myself I can overcome any challenges.
Little did I know throughout this process I was also conditioning my mind and body. This is a key to my transformation and I’m still going through it.
I can now say from remaining stagnant for so long and being able to transform in such a short amount of time I have no doubt that with determination, dedication and commitment, I will keep pushing forward along with battling with my mind and body to overcome any obstacles that are yet to come.
I am proof its possible.
My journey does not end here I want to be in the best shape possible, I know with the awesome trainers and their dedication to us, plus the support from other boot campers, my husband and my family I will continue to improve and be in the best shape ever and with endless possibilities.
