Take time for you and take time for yourself. If that includes fitness, that’s great. But if you use fitness as a punishment against yourself, that’s not great.
Expectations = Effort + Consistency = Outcomes
If it’s not your goal to have a six pack, why work your ass off and struggle through a process you’re not motivated by?
You need to make choices and take action on things that inspire, grow and develop you into who you want to be or what you want to do.
The more time you spend chasing someone else’s goal, vanity or irrelevant metrics that’s not in line with what fuels you…
…the quicker you burn out.
…the more resentment you’ll have.
…the longer or less likely you’ll achieve that goal.
Dedication, commitment and conviction to your goals is the only thing that’ll get you there and make you feel whole. It’ll keep you driven during tough times and focused in times of chaos.
Self love is important and essential.
The best part for you is it can come in so many different variations…
-yoga
-prayer
-meditation
-exercise
-run
-kayak
-boating
-hiking
-mani/pedis (ladies you’re welcome, sorry guys!)
The most important thing to remember though is that if you’re using your self-love as punishment and self persecution for eating poorly or not being in the health you would like to be, you are headed down a slippery slope!
Make choices out of love for yourself. Because after all you have to live with you for the rest of your life!
