1.) You’re going to admit and accept what I’m sharing with you.

2.) You’re going to blame me or someone else for your struggles.

If you’re thinking you need MORE MOTIVATION to get back to eat healthier, exercise and lose weight then YOU’RE WRONG! This is what’s really missing and holding you back…

Motivation will NOT lead to you being successful!

Motivation only last so long, then the rigors of your day-to-day life get in the way. That’s when motivation is replaced by your habits and rituals.

Everyone always wants to wait until they are motivated or until they feel like doing something, unfortunately that is most likely never going to happen.

If it does happen, it’s going to be momentarily and the key for you is to take advantage of those moments.

Otherwise for the rest of us mere mortals, we need to create our own motivation. It comes in the form of setting goals, but more importantly setting action steps on a daily basis to reach those goals.

Once you have that established, then you need to set a deadline that is scary enough to kick you into gear today!

When you back up your goals with action steps, your habits and rituals will take over on the days that you are not motivated.

The most successful people you know are not always motivated, but they know what needs to be done and then they get it done anyway!

If you keep waiting for the day that you want to run a marathon or want to lose 50 lbs or want to change your diet, good luck. Because there is a huge difference between wanting and doing.

Stop waiting to be motivated by someone and stop waiting for the perfect time.

If you have wanted something bad enough for long enough and haven’t started yet, what is going to be that difference maker?

The answer is YOU are the difference maker.

It won’t always be perfect and it definitely won’t always be pretty, but action is the only thing missing from what you want and where you are going.

So every morning ask yourself “what am I doing today to move me closer to my goal of ________?”

Once you answer that question, get off your butt and go do it!
