Transformation Tuesday blog by: Tiara Paquette

So this Transformation Tuesday is going to be the first-of-its-kind and a little bit unique…

What is your big announcement? I’m expecting a little tike this upcoming Halloween ?❤️

When you found out, what was your initial reaction in general?
When I found out I felt so many emotions I was happy, scared, excited and nervous all at the same time and now I’m very excited and happy.

When you reached out to your trainers to let them know the news what were your fears, concerns and hesitations?
I was so scared to tell my trainers for some reason. I thought that they’d be upset with me (don’t know why I’d think that) but I also was scared I’d now have so many limitations and wouldn’t be able to attend as much.

How have you felt throughout your pregnancy? Have you had any issues so far?
The normal symptoms tired and sick ?I unfortunately have had terrible morning sickness that often lasts all throughout the day which has made it hard to keep up with my nutritional goals but I’ve been finding little things that help and have been doing better.

How have you worked around these issues?
Besides reading stuff to help, my trainers have been awesome. Any time I asked for help or advice they were right there to help me. They’ve been so awesome through everything.

What have you learned about yourself and your body during this time?
I really like to push myself and “one up” myself but I’ve learned that even though I can still do a lot, sometimes I have to slow it down a little and lift a little less.

What type of limitations have you faced and what type of modifications have your trainers provided for you?
I no longer do deadlifts 🙁 in place I’ve done straight leg dead lifts. I no longer squat heavy I just squat with lighter weight and there are some ab exercises I can’t do that I just replace with ones I still can do.

If you weren’t in great shape before finding out you were pregnant, do you feel like you would be able to still train and work out as hard as you are now?
Honestly, I do think so, not at all. I’ve been so tired and drained and if bootcamp and exercising wasn’t already part of my lifestyle I’m not sure I’d be able to hop in and start. I’m not even sure if my body would be able to handle it.

What are you most excited and most proud about?
I’m most excited to meet my little munchkin and be a mommy! ❤️ I’m most proud that I haven’t become lazy and that I’ve stuck to attending bootcamp and my training sessions.
