Since I started I dreamed about this day and now that it is here I am absolutely speechless.

As a teen I was always very thin, probably too thin at most times.

As I finished high school, had children and became less active it became harder to lose the weight and stay healthy.

I tried the gym here and there and to work out at home but something always got in the way.

I kept hearing about this bootcamp place from a friend and was interested but would say ‘that’s not for me’.

When I hit 180 lbs for the second time in my life I had to do something and finally gave in. Cathy Live Fit boot camp mom fitness weight loss success

I started bootcamp with a shoulder injury that really limited my movement. I was scared to death too. “What am I getting myself into?”

Day 1, week 1, month 1 was tough for me.

I would look at everyone else and say ‘man I wish I could do that’ but then I read an email that reminded me everyone is different and is going to be different.

Every day was something different and challenging. It was fun, extremely fun though!!! I was addicted!!

Now 4 months later I have overcome my shoulder injury (in fact bootcamp really helped it) and every day I continue to find things I didn’t think I could do.

I still can’t run and I still tell Rich “that ain’t happening” all the time but it does happen….I don’t know how but it does!

I have not let fear stand in my way of my goals anymore. I look at every day as a new challenge and how can I tackle this one.

I have a ways to go but every little accomplishment is a major feat in my book.

Just Keep Moving!!!
