I always say that we are more than “just a bootcamp” but it’s more than just a fun thing to say. It’s true.

I pride myself in offering every opportunity, tool and possibility for each person to succeed. My goal is to have each person that walks through those big bay doors to become a Transformation Tuesday success story with increased energy, confidence and strength in every aspect of their lives.

What makes us so different is the work beyond our daily bootcamp workouts. But, sometimes I find that even clients who have been with me 2, 3, 4 and even 5 years do not realize all the tools and access to their trainers that they have available to them.

1.) Modifications for all injuries, abilities and limitations

Every single night I write a brand new original workout for the following day. I also write up modifications for all types of injuries and limitations so that there is never a reason to miss a workout.

Whether it’s bad knees, a chronic shoulder problem or plantar fasciitis, I will have something ready for you if there are any exercises you will not be able to do.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS…text me the night before the workout after 7pm (or anytime the day of your workout before 4pm) along with what you need a modification for.

Example: “Hey Derek, I’ll be there tonight at 7pm. Do I need any modifications for my knees?”

I’ll send you pictures and descriptions of exactly what you’ll need to do. It’s that simple!

2.) Stretches and rehab exercises for any pre-existing injuries or sore body parts

My job is to take away all excuses you might have to ever miss a workout. Each day we work a completely different body part than the day before so we’re always working out muscles that are fresh.

I also will send you appropriate stretches if you are new and feeling extra sore or having any lingering injuries.

My goal with all injuries is always to…

     –  #1 stretch, ice and eliminate pain

     –  #2 restore range of motion

     –  #3 strengthen and stabilize

“Working through the pain” never works and I promise you won’t be the first. There are plenty of other body parts we can work on as we wait for an area to properly heal.

Taking time off for an injury is just an excuse to take time off from exercising. Why let your whole body become unhealthy because of one little issue?

3.) Send you at home workouts

Can’t make it to a workout today because of work, travel or schedule? Want an extra workout to do on the weekend? No problem I’ll send you the bootcamp workout we’re doing that day. Let me know what equipment you do or do not have at home and we’ll come up with exercise substitutions so you can do it home, community/hotel fitness center or your local $10 gym.

Like I said, my job is to take away every excuse for you to miss a workout!

4.) Private Facebook group

The LiveFit Official Support page is packed with exercises, at home workouts, important links, upcoming events and things you need to know.

This is also where our fit family shares their recipe ideas, upcoming mud run sign ups, triumphs, successes and set backs so that you always have your accountability partners by your side.

5.) My BEST blogs and emails are written to YOU!

What once started as a huge fear, writing has now become a passion and an outlet to share great information to hundreds of people every day. The email replies I get back from you are always touching and let me know I’m on the right track.

I always get asked, “How did you know that was exactly what I was going through?”

The answer is simple, my best blogs and emails are actually email replies that I have sent to other clients that same day!

With over 200 active clients and close to 2,000 email subscribers if I ever get the same question from more than a few people in the same day/week I know that the same question has probably crossed your mind too.
