…That’s all I need & I’ll be happy.”
That’s what I told myself on my first day of bootcamp.
As a mom of 4 kids, working alongside her husband and trying to maintain a household, I wasn’t sure if I was 100 % ready to commit to bootcamp or working out. But walking out of bootcamp after day #1, all that changed!
I started going 5 days a week and within a couple weeks started pulling doubles.
I didn’t even notice that I was hitting mini accomplishments left & right.
I did my first ever 5k Mud run, something I thought I would never do.
I can make it through a whole core workout and not want to die!
I didn’t think it was possible for me.
Being so self critical, enough is never enough for me.
Within 2 1/2 months I had already hit my goal of 20 lbs and started making new goals.
The new goal…getting on stage in 2016 for a bikini competition.
I have more energy and am feeling more confident by the day.
The biggest hurdle to overcome was myself. I had to stop saying ‘I wish’ and start saying ‘I will’.
I didn’t do it by myself, I had an amazing support system that stood behind me and pushed me harder everyday.
It isn’t the easy road to travel but, I know now more than ever that is 300% worth it.
I know now that I can do this & nothing can stop me from getting where I want to be!
