This Friday night June 12 and Saturday morning June 13th the Live Fit Bootcamps gym will be closed as all our trainers are competing in bodybuilding, physique and bikini competitions at the Central Florida Classic in Lakeland, Fl.

Here is an awesome, on your own workout that you can do at home, at the park or throughout the streets of your neighborhood.

Start with this warm up I found on Pinterest (their workout is our warm-up) 🙂

The weekend workout…

Start with a light jog and go until you either need a rest or, come across a park bench and do 15 bench burpees

Continue to jog until you need another rest or, come across another bench, tree limb, jungle gym or pull up bar and do 15 hanging leg raises (seated on a bench is an easier modification)

Look for the closest bench, tree stump, or use the bottom of a hill for easier modification and do 15 bench jumps

Continue to jog until you reach the parallel dip bars or another bench and do 10 dips with a leg raise in between each rep (you’ll have to alternate legs if using a bench)

Continue running until you reach the end of the 1 mile mark. This is the end of your first round, repeat again for as many rounds as you want to challenge yourself to.

When finished, end with a partner wheel barrow walk for as long as you can possibly go and 100 partner claps. If you are working with a partner, challenge each other to see who can walk the furthest. If you are working alone, do this in pushup position and aim to go at least 100 feet and do your claps against a tree or pole.
