3 quick, easy and healthy breakfast options…

I love breakfast! Who doesn’t love either waffles or pancakes on the weekends?

The downside with the “all American breakfast” is that most items include MASSIVE amounts of carbohydrates….and sugar.

Here are 3 low carb options that you can pair anytime with either Canadian bacon, eggs or heck even greasy real bacon on occasion!

Quick & Easy Protein Waffles

Ingredients 

1 cup egg whites
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup oatmeal
1 scoop protein powder

Dash of Splenda or Stevia

Prep: 2 Minutes
Cook: 4 minutes

Protein 55, carbs 12.5, fat 5 (this one pictured has 0g of fat and no yolk)

 

Protein Waffles with a chocolate Quest Bar

 

Ingredients 

1 Quest bar
1 cup of egg whites
1 tbsp of “nuts ‘n more ” toffee crunch
Coconut oil cooking spray

My 2¢ everyone is to make the batter thicker by adding 1 scoop of protein powder.

Then after you spread the batter on the iron, scatter the broken quest bar pieces.

Otherwise it was all bunched up in the middle.

Healthy High Protein Pancakes!

Try these quick and easy protein pancakes this morning! (You can also put these in a waffle maker for a golden brown masterpiece)

Ingredients 

1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 scoop vanilla whey
1 tbsp Polaner sugar free, high fiber jelly

Then top it off with 2 tbsp of redi whip
