Have you ever been guilty of over-complicating things? I think we all have been there!
I mean if something’s too easy, we have to find a way to mess things up right?!
This is exactly the case for health and fitness. It’s really so simple, but yet as humans we make it so extremely difficult.
Yes there are hundreds of different strategies for losing weight and getting in shape, but what would happen if you just focused on one of them?
What would happen if you committed to just one strategy and stuck with it for the rest of the week, rest of the month, rest of the year for rest of your life?
The answer is a lot further along than you are today.
You see the problem is we get too focused on being perfect and trying to incorporate all of the information that we know, instead of doing what is actually most important for our own personal progress.
On Monday I sent you the new outline for the “75 days to LiveFit” programthat we will be going over in person next Thursday at 7 p.m. to help you break down the exact steps needed to take you from where you are, to where you want to be in the next 10+ weeks.
By the end of the 30 minutes or so you will have a completely customized outline including daily steps, check-in dates and deadlines.
You also leave with a free meal from Rebuilt Meals (my bribe to you) and a printed worksheet to take your notes, set up your game plan and deadlines!
What to do now???
Between today and next Thursday the most important thing you can start doing is either keeping a pad of paper nearby or the notepad on your cell phone easily available.
As a new goal pops into your head, write it down.
As a new strategy pops in your head, write it down.
As a possible objection or roadblock pops in your head, write it down.
Most importantly, DO THIS…
As you catch yourself making excuses for exercise or nutrition, write it down.
As you catch yourself getting nervous about changing one of your daily habit, WRITE IT DOWN!!!
This list or memo pad is going to be your starting point. It’s your mirror of what you are continuously doing AND thinking.
As we know, where your thoughts go, your energy flows.
So get working on your lists, make sure you reserve your spot and your meal for next Thursday’s overview workshop by going to the link below
It’s time to make changes, so ask yourself why not you, why not now?
The only thing in the way is the fear of breaking bad habits.
Committed to your fitness success,
