Whether tomorrow is your first day of working out or the first day of your 5th year working out, every day you are starting over from scratch.

I’ll explain…

It doesn’t matter how good or bad your last meal was, the only thing that matters is your next meal.

It doesn’t matter how good or bad your last workout was, the only thing that matters is your next workout.

It doesn’t matter how much will power you had yesterday, the only thing that matters is your will power today.

As humans and society we put so much emphasis and attention to what happened yesterday, last week and last year…yet that shit doesn’t matter!

Let it go.

Good or bad, let it go.

The only thing that matters is what you do next.

Fitness athletes, olympians, bodybuilders and even trainers like myself fall off track, have a bad meal or miss a workout.

The difference between the most successful people we know and the people that are still blaming the same excuses that they were a year ago, is bounce back time.

Bounce Back Time- the amount of time required to get over yourself, forgive yourself and move on. It’s how long it takes you to get back on the horse when you fall off. It’s trying and trying again, even when you don’t succeed at first….

^^I’m sure I left out a few cliches but you get the point hahahaha 🙂

So use today to pack your gym clothes, block off an hour for yourself in your calendar to exercise and make sure you have lunch (and a snack) prepared to take to work with you.

Stop putting the past on a pedestal and chasing how ‘things used to be’ so you can start creating a better tomorrow for yourself…today!
