Growing up I’ve always been into some type of physical activity.
Weather it be playing a pickup game of dodgeball or kickball with my brothers and neighborhood kids, or going from one softball practice to another.
I was even on 3 softball teams at one time!
I always wanted to stay busy and be active and that’s because of my competitiveness.
Growing up with 2 brothers, and one being so close in age, (only 10 months!) I had to be.
Being one of the only girls in the neighborhood, If I wanted to play sports with my brother Jay and friends, I had to prove I was “good enough to play with the boys.” And don’t worry, I did or at least I got hurt trying and got right back up the next round.
Sounds like I should be in amazing shape right? Wrong!
Because I was always on the go, my diet started to reflect that.
Constantly eating out, grabbing something quick and fast, and only eating like twice in the whole day!
I had no idea what a well rounded diet considered off nor did I care in all honestly. I was working out so much that I thought “it’s okay, I can sweat this off later.”
I was always told, I wasn’t fat I just had an “ athletic body type”.
Talk about a load of BS. In all honestly, I didn’t follow a diet until I competed in my first ever Bikini contest.
Doing the bikini contest, I was so nervous!!
I’ve never been one to go up on stage and be the center of attention let alone in a extremely small suit showing off so much.
The support system I had between bootcampers, the trainers, my Family, friends, Rolo and the group girls I did it with is what kept me going.
The bootcampers and the girls I competed with are what really kept me going!
Having many different people with different backgrounds, body types, ages, goals watch our process and encourage me, how could you not keep going?
I’m beyond lucky enough to be in such a supportive and loving environment at LiveFit. I couldn’t have done it without that!
Everyone looks at my pictures and says and ask, “wow you Look amazing, how much weight did you lose?”
I’m sorry but I hate that question. Why does a number effect anything? Affect how you looked? Affect how you feel?
In all honestly, I was the heaviest I’ve ever been but I was in the best shape of my life. And you know what, I was beyond happy with my progress!
I’d do it all again, and I will.
I would like to move to figure next year, so for now I am continue to grow and build muscle!

Start NOW and attend as many instructed 1/2 hour bootcamp sessions as you’d like for 2 weeks for only $1!
Beginners are encouraged to attend either our beginner sessions initially until you’re acclimated and ready for a greater challenge.
Please arrive 15 minutes early your first day.
After your first session you can attend as many workouts as you’d like, anyday, anytime!
