Top 10 Reasons Not To Join Boot Camp

1) I am not fit enough.

This is probably the biggest fear of most who are considering a new style of fitness. There is always the fear of the unknown. Lucky for you, we welcome all ages, all fitness abilities, any pre-existing injuries. We have bootcampers that are grandparents, nurses, bankers, housewives, teachers, moms and dads who are looking to make a serious change in their health and in their life. You can do it too!

2) I cannot afford it.

Boot camp is really affordable and works out around $5-8 per session, just think of it like Personal Training. Every time you participate, you will get results. That’s why you train, to get results! Anyone can buy a gym membership…very few get results. With our program format, nutritional support, and accountability, your success is now possible.

The better question to ask yourself is, how much time & money have I wasted on fitness memberships, vitamins, supplements, books  and products trying to achieve my goals?

3) I will start next month.

The problem is, next month you will have the same excuse. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes.

4) I have no free time.

This is just an excuse, nothing more. Life is going by so fast, but nothing should be as important as your health.

Make time to get healthy or make time to get sick. It’s all about priorities.

5) I am not a good runner.

Then we should get along well 🙂 I hate running!! In fact we do very little running at bootcamp. Most of the running we do is under 100 yards and generally only a few times per week!

6) The shoes cost too much.

Sure, running shoes can be expensive, but it’s not like you have to pay for a canoe or a bike. A good pair of shoes will help prevent injuries and improve your performance, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll get hurt without expensive ones.  Closeout stores like Ross, TJ Maxx and Bealls generally sell Nikes, Reebok and New Balance for under $40.

7) I am tired.

A body in motion stays in motion, a body at rest stays at rest! I know you are tired after a long day of work and sometimes exercise can seem like ‘more work’ but, exercise releases endorphins (making you feel happy) and it can help wake you up.

When I’m tired or even starting to feel down (mentally or physically), I have found that exercise is a much better cure than sitting around watching TV or laying in bed. So, don’t let this be your excuse because that’s exactly what it is: an excuse.

8) Exercise is hard work.

Ask any of my clients how they feel before, during and after each workout. My guess? Nervous. Pushed. Proud. In that exact order!
If working out were supposed to be easy, it would be called an “easyout” not a “workout”. But, just because you’ll push yourself more than you do on your own, doesn’t mean that it won’t be the most fun you’ve ever had working out! We have a lot of fun…A LOT!!

9) It is too hot (or too cold).

In the summer, the heat is too much; in the winter, the cold is more than I can handle. I’ve heard it all… you can exercise through a lot of weather conditions, just be smart and dress accordingly. Heck this is why we live in Florida right? TO BE OUTSIDE.

10) I am a member of a gym.

Great! This will be beneficial if you are traveling, can’t make it to a workout, or you want me to design a workout for you to do at your gym. Or you can cancel your gym membership. Bootcamp gets more results in one month than you get in a year at a gym. It’s like having your own Personal Trainer every time but without the expensive cost.

No Gym can give this to you.

Make a difference in your life today. Make a plan. Take action.
