Guest blog post by Transformation Tuesday success Tiara Pacquette who has lost over 30 pounds of fat and over 11% body fat

All my life I had struggled with my weight. I never realized how big I had got until a friend had taken a picture of us and I was mortified. 10273672_10203895641172533_6849889237037589289_n

I began to try to lose weight on my own, when I struggled I lost confidence and hope, went into depression and I thought I was just meant to be over weight forever. I then sought out further assistance and searched for a personal trainer and LiveFit Bootcamp just kept popping up.

I looked at the website once and clicked away thinking “Ha! I would never do anything like that.”

But, I ended up going back 2 weeks later and reading throughout the whole site and saw a special for $1 for 2 weeks.

I decided what the hell do I have to lose $1 for 2 weeks, if I hated it I just lost $1.

Nevertheless, I ended up emailing Derek that day and he told me to come that night. Working out for some time on my own I thought I may have been able to be considered advanced and went to the advance session at 6:30 and I just about died.

I left thinking why in the hell did I ever go and I’m never coming back.

But there was just something that reeled me in; the people, the environment, and the hustle I watched people put out, not to mention people I didn’t even talk to were cheering me on.

I then decided I wanted to try it out again. I  still struggle at times but I ended up becoming addicted and it started to become my happy place, my stress reliever, the place I looked forward to going to end each day. Front before after transformation bootcamp

When I first started I couldn’t do anything; push up, sit up, jumping jack, and forget anything with coordination.

I looked at other bootcampers with awe wanting to one day be able to do what I watched them do every night and so I made mini goals for myself; for example, I would say okay by the end of this month I want to do so many push ups in a minute and I would work really hard towards that goal to achieve it. I still to this day make mini goals for myself and I have ultimate goals as well.

I really felt achieved after I had completed my first challenge, my first victory.

I had finished as one of the top bootcampers losing 5.5% body fat, 13.2 pounds of fat, gained 9 lbs of muscle, and improved my reps by 142.

After that challenge is when I knew I really could do it and only get better from there, I finally believed in myself. I only want to take it farther from here. I want to get leaner and stronger.

I have now moved to doing personal training 4x a week on top of bootcamp and I have REALLY kicked it in the butt with my food after attending the Mastermind Nutrition Seminar. I want to and plan to be competing in a npc bikini contest next year. That is my ultimate goal and I know I can and will achieve it.

For anybody just starting if there is something I could tell you, I would tell you to believe in yourself and just do something for you, make time for yourself and believe in yourself.

You can be who you dream and want to be, you’re not stuck with where you are now. I work full time, am a full time student, and help care for my neices but I still make sure I have time for ME because I do matter and so do you.

Put yourself first for once and you will achieve all that you wish to.
