Indulgent taste without the guilt…

So it’s extremely important to not just eliminated unhealthy foods from your diet when you are looking to lose weight and make a transformation, but to also replace those unhealthy foods with healthier alternatives.

Just like when you break a bad habit you need to replace that habit with a new good habit, the same applies with food and desserts.

If you are constantly telling yourself that you cannot eat the good tasting food, you start to feel deprived.

Humans are smart but our brains are also smart enough to realize that we DO NOT like change.

What you absolutely have to do to have long term success with eating healthier and losing body fat is to find delicious, healthy alternative recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Here are a few of my favorites…

 

1. QUEST Peanut Butter Cups-

They are a bit on the dry side but, you will know if you’ve been restricting sugar long enough because otherwise these should taste delicious.

2. Jello Mousse Temptations

3. Temptations by Jello (key lime pie or lemon meringue)

Just like when you’re eating at an upscale restaurant and they bring you lemon sorbet to cleanse your pallet between courses, these little cups of tart are EXACTLY what you need to stop endless snack after meals. My wife and I call these our pallet cleansers!

After a meal if you feel are still feeling the urge to nibble, taste or sample something else reach for one of these. The lemon and key lime are perfect POPS of flavor to take the edge off and satisfy your cravings.

4. Quest Bar Molten Mug Cakes

If you have followed my blog or videos for any length of time you know that I recommend Quest and One protein bars to my clients.

While the One bars are much tastier straight out of the box and much more like a candy bar, Quest bars are more like raw dough ready for your creativity to run wild with new ideas and recipes.

One of my favorite after dinner or late night snacks is to take a coffee mug, spray the inside of the mug with butter spray, then break up the Quest bar into little crumbles and fill the mug with the crumbles. Microwave on high for 40-50 seconds and enjoy!

For added flavor and creativity, try adding peanut butter to your mug to make an exploding molten lava cake…but WAY healthier for you.

So what’s your excuse now? Eat the dessert!

I hope these products and recipes help to open your eyes of all the possibilities available to you to eat healthy, get in shape and earn the body you’ve always wanted.

Now it doesn’t have to come down to good taste vs bad taste or dieting vs non-dieting. Now you can stay on track AND eat your sweets đŸ™‚
